Our first mission: SpaceDREAM
In the beginning of December 2022 we received our first launch opportunity for the mission SpaceDREAM A small form factor, lightweight robotic arm will be
Since the launch of the first satellite in 1957, the human race has explored ever farther and wider into the cosmos. These endeavors increasingly require extensive robotic and automation capabilities. At the same time, the orbits around us are becoming increasingly crowded with each arrival of new satellites, spacecrafts, and an ever growing number of space debris. It is now in urgent need of a space strategy going forward that brings sustainability to space.
This calls for cutting edge technology to realize satellite refueling, life extension, and the eventual de-orbit, to keep our orbits clean.
Our mission is to bring the most advanced German and European space robotics technology, backed by the research branch of the German Aerospace Center, DLR, to make this a reality.
KINETIK Space offers an array of space robotic solutions, including joint drive units, robotic arms and end-effectors, that can be tailored to your needs in orbit and beyond. Our unique robotic solutions incorporate space-proven technology with force-torque sensing that enables dexterous on-orbit operations.
Our end-effectors, such as the Capture Tool, are optimized for docking to satellites for refueling and life extension. This can be paired with KINETIK Space’s end-to-end rendezvous and docking software solutions.
For our customers and partners in search of more customized solutions, the KINETIK Space motion modules provide the key component to rapidly integrate a robotic system tailored to your exact needs.
